Iniciamos esta aventura en la Ruta Quechua partiendo del hotel a las 6:30 am para realizar nuestra primera parada en el pueblo de Pucará cuna de artistas, el tiempo de viaje es de 1 hora y 45 minutos, en Pucará se dedican principalmente a la manufactura artesanal de los famosos “Toritos de Pucará”, representaciones en cerámica, de las cuales podremos apreciar la elaboración de estas cerámicas y ser partícipes elaborando nuestro propio torito de Pucará en los talleres que existen en el pueblo. Luego de esta demostración sin ir muy lejos podrán apreciar y degustar de uno de los mejores cafés puneños a cargo de una familia de emprendedores que nos mostrarán el proceso desde el cultivo hasta el producto final que será el café a degustar; este café se produce en la selva puneña en la provincia de Sandia el cual es parte de la Reserva Nacional Bahuaja Sonene en el departamento de Puno; esta primera parte de la visita mostramos una cara diferente de la tradicional visita a Pucará, ya que también este distrito pertenece a la provincia de Lampa y es parte del corredor turístico Puno - Cusco, donde se consideran las visitas al museo de Pucará y el centro arqueológico de Kalasaya; pero sin darle un valor a los artesanos del distrito que son productores del famoso e internacional “torito de Pucará”. Luego de esta visita nos dirigimos al pueblo de Ayaviri famoso por la gastronomía con un plato conocido como kankacho (plato típico ayavireño en base a cordero al horno), este plato de la zona es preparado sin mucha condimentación, en el horno, se sirve con papas al horno, moraya con queso en medio y una salsa picante, el cual se deleitará como parte de nuestro almuerzo, posterior a ello nos dirigimos hacia el cañón de Tinajani y apreciar el impresionante paisaje de rocas con formas que harán volar nuestra imaginación, en el lugar también se apreciará unas pequeñas tumbas pre incas, paseando por este hermoso bosque de piedras continuamos un poco más en la ruta hacia otro bosque el cual es conocido por un tipo de planta que una vez que florece inmediatamente muere, su nombre científico es “pourretia gigantea” y conocido localmente como titanca, puya o Puya de Raymondi; entre sus particularidades esta planta puede producir hasta 8 mil flores, 6 millones de semillas, crece entre 3 a 4 metros de altura, sobre los 4000 msnm. Finalmente, al terminar el paseo por Tinajani y el bosque de puyas continuamos de retorno a la ciudad de Puno arribando al promediar las 5:00 p.m.

Finally, at the end of the walk through Tinajani and the Puya forest we continue our return to the city of Puno arriving at about 5:00 pm.
