Esta experiencia te va a permitir disfrutar y vivir en medio de la naturaleza en la Reserva Nacional del Titikaka, donde podrás apreciar la flora natural que es la totora y la fauna silvestre ya que el Lago Titikaka es cuna de muchas variedades de aves las cuales iremos apreciando durante el recorrido hacia las islas Flotantes de Los Uros; ya arribando al complejo de islas flotantes se podrá continuar por el rio Wily a través del complejo de islas flotantes, dirigíendonos por la zona norte y retornando a una de las islas donde se tendrá una visita y explicación por parte del guía.
El Complejo de Islas flotantes de los Uros está ubicado a 6 km de la ciudad de Puno al este entre los totorales (junco) en la Reserva Nacional del Titikaka.
Son Islas hechas en base a totora, gente que se dedica a la pesca, recolectores de huevos, caza de aves y artesanía. Actualmente también a la agricultura ya que cerca de sus viviendas en tierra firme ellos poseen terrenos donde siembran los productos que necesiten como son papa, quinua, cañíhua, habas, etc.
Conocerás cual es el proceso de construcción de una isla, modo de vivir de su gente, autoridades, religión entre otros datos importantes. Al final de la actividad y la visita a la isla flotante retornamos al puerto en la ciudad de Puno y traslado al hotel.
OPCIONAL. – Al terminal la actividad de kayak y la visita a la isla flotante de los Uros, podrás conectar con uno de los tours como el full day a la isla Taquile y el de 2 días 1 noche en la Isla Amantaní; en otros casos se puede salir en otros horarios ya como servicio privado y con un costo extra; del mismo modo realizar la actividad en otros lugares como son la isla Taquile, Amantani, Llachón, Luquina, laguna Umayo y otra previa cotización.

The Uros Floating Islands Complex is located 6 km from the city of Puno to the east among the totora reeds in the Titikaka National Reserve.
They are islands made of totora reeds, people who are dedicated to fishing, egg gathering, bird hunting and handicrafts. Currently also to agriculture and near their homes on the mainland they have land where they plant the products they need such as potatoes, quinoa, cañíhua, beans, etc..
You will learn about the construction process of an island, the way of life of its people, authorities, religion and other important information. At the end of the activity and the visit to the floating island we return to the port in the city of Puno and transfer to the hotel.
