DAY 1.
7:40 am Pick up from the hotel to the port of Puno, we do it in local transport called taxicholos or tricycles in which you will have a small experience of what it is to move around some areas of Puno. We arrive at the port of Puno in the place is optional to make some purchases of groceries for the family where they will stay, it will be delivered in token of appreciation for spending a night with them in their home. An explanation is made about the ships of the Titiqaqa, we board the boat and settle in, we leave the port of Puno at about 8:20 am, it takes us 30 minutes approximately to arrive at the Floating Islands of the Uros complex, we visit two floating islands for an hour and 30 minutes approx. In the place the guide will provide the necessary explanation on how the islands are built, then continue the journey to Amantani Island will take us about 2 hrs 30 min to arrive at the island, and in it the guide is responsible for sending tourists with local families, there are eight communities but are rotating daily, the guide indicates the meeting time to make the walk to climb to the ceremonial temple PachaTata which is located in the upper part of the island; This after lunch at the family's house, already in the Pachatata you will have a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca and at night dinner at the family home and after that you can attend the local community where there will be a sample of local music and dance, this activity is optional for tourists. When returning at night it is recommended to carry flashlights or cell phones well charged because there is no public lighting.
DAY 2.
Very early breakfast in a family house and we go down to the port to make the trip to Amantani Island at about 7:00 am: 00 am, it takes us 50 min to arrive to Taquile Island, there we will walk up for about 40 min to an hour to the main square or to a restaurant where there will be a sample of dance, music and textiles, depending on the physical capacity of visitors, you can also take pictures and also will have explanation of the guide about the importance of Taquile Island and why it is considered a Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO, after a free time for photos we will have lunch, free time and then descent to the other port in Taquile to return to Puno.
Arrival in Puno at about 3:00 pm and transfer to your hotel.

Se recomienda llevar gorros o sombreros, bloqueador solar, lentes de sol, ropa ligera para horarios de sol, para la tarde es recomendable llevar ropa abrigadora, agua mineral, frutas o algo del gusto del turista para el viaje, un bolso o mochila pequeña para llevar algunas cosas.
También le indicamos que en la Isla Amantani la alimentación es completamente vegetariana, no se come carne solo es comida típica, el segundo día en Taquile si podrán comer pescado (trucha a la plancha) u omelet como segunda opción y la sopa es de quinua.

It is recommended to bring caps or hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, light clothing for sunny hours, for the afternoon it is advisable to bring warm clothes, mineral water, fruit or something of the tourist's taste for the trip, a bag or small backpack to carry some things.
We also indicate that in Amantani Island the food is completely vegetarian, no meat is eaten only typical food, the second day in Taquile if you can eat fish (grilled trout) or omelet as a second option and the soup is quinoa.
